Blood Need Alert!

Currently, the community blood supply for types O positive and A positive are at an emergency level and O negative, A negative are at a critical level.

We ask you to increase your outreach to all donors of all blood types and especially O positive, A positive, O negative and A negative to help boost the national and local blood supply and ensure that blood is available for patients in need.

The Red Cross has publicly and repeatedly urged blood donations. We need donations NOW, and ask individuals to make an appointment to give blood as soon as possible.

If a donor cannot keep their scheduled appointment, please encourage the donor to call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767), or visit redcrossblood.org to find another blood donation opportunity.
